Intra Hydrocare Water Sanitiser

Contaminated drinking water directly impacts animal health, welfare and performance and adding medicines, vaccines and nutritional supplements to the drinking water creates a biofilm. Biofilm is the breeding ground for pathogenic microorganisms which can be transmitted via the drinking water system, such as E. coli, Salmonella, Avian Influenza Virus, African Swine Fever Virus. Removing the biofilm removes 99% of all microorganisms, but any remaining pathogens will also be effectively removed. This prevents the drinking water system from acting as a transmission route for pathogens and from infecting your pigs/poultry.

POULTRY CLEANING WITH AN EMPTY HOUSE: Fill the drinking system with 1-3% solution (1-3lt Hydrocare per 100lt water). After filling all pipes, drinking nozzles, cups or towers must also be filled so the whole system is treated. Ensure there is always air escape in the system. Allow to stand for at least 12 hours then rinse the whole system, including drinking nozzles, cups and towers with clean water.

POULTRY CLEANING WITH ANIMALS PRESENT: Start with a dose of 0.010% (100ml Hydrocare per 1000lt water) for 5 days. If needed increase dosage by 50ml every two days until the max dosage of 200ml Hydrocare per 1000lt water has been reached. Depending on the type or amount of contamination, this will take approx 10 days. If the water/feed intake lowers, the dosage must be lowered.

POULTRY MAINTENANCE: Incoming water polluted 0.0030-0.0050% (30-50ml Hydrocare per 1000lt water) every day.  Incoming water ok 0.010-0.015% (100-150ml Hydrocare per 1000lt water) 1-2 days a week.

PIGS EMPTY BARNS: Clean and disinfect drinking system using a 1-3% concentration (1-3lt Hydrocare per 100lt water) and leave overnight in the system. Ensure there is always air escape in the system.

PIGS ANIMALS PRESENT: Use 100ml Hydrocare per 1000lt water for 10-14 days.  If needed, continue until the system is clean.

Make sure there is always air-escape in the drinking system when cleaning the system. Be aware that 1lt of Hydrocare produces 200lt of oxygen.
