Biolime H90 Disinfectant 25kg

Hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide) which has been specially formulated for agriculture and is an approved biocide. It creates a stable alkali environment which will inhabit bacterial growth, improve biosecurity and reduce odours. It is easily applied with no surface preparation necessary and has lasting protection.

For Dairy and Cattle:  Calf pens are kept dry improving hygiene.  Reduces mastitis as well as hoof infections and lameness.  Helps to protect against Scours and Pneumonia as well as helping to destroy Tuberculosis and Brucellosis in cattle slurry. No risk of hydrogen sulphide.

For Sheep: Hygiene in lambing pens is improved. Prevents lamness, Scald and Foot rot when applied to gathering areas, gateways and in housing.  Will also protect against Scours, Watery mouth, Navel and Join ill.

For Poultry and Game Birds: Biosecurity is improved by protecting against Avian Influenza, Newcastle disease and other bacterial infections.  Improves hygiene for good flock health. Reduces fly activity.

General Farm Use: Can be used as a hygienic and antiseptic wash. May also be used as PH control in digesters, reduces acidity/PH control of farm effluent and helps prevent mould and condensation problems.

Simply spread by hand or mechanical applicator at the following typical application rates.

• 500g per cubicle per day
• 500g per m² in calf/lambing pens
• 500g per m² in game bird pens
• 500g per m² around poultry housing/pens
