Prophyl S Disinfectant 20L

Prophyl S is an ideal biocide to set up biosafety barriers in all types of livestock farms. It can be used to fight all types of pathogens, including any implicated in neonatal diarrhoea. It even remains active in the presence of organic matter.
It is a wide-spectrum with long lasting efficacy disinfectant to use against bacteria, yeast, mycobacteria, fungus and viruses, equally effective in a 2% solution over 2 hours on protozoan oocysts (Eimeria and Cryptosporidium parvum) and Ascaris.

For Disinfection of livestock buildings/Equipment: Bactericidal (to EN14349) 30 minutes, high soiling conditions – 1% (1:100), Yeasticidal (to EN16438) 60 minutes, high soiling conditoons – 1% (1:100), Fungicidal (to EN16438, 60 minutes – 1.5% (1:67), Mycobactericidal (to EN14204) 60 minutes – 1.5% (1:67), Virucidal (to EN14675), 30 minutes – 2% (1:50), Cryptosporicidal and Coccidicidal – 2% (1:50), Ascaris – 2% (1:50)

First Disinfection: Spraying the surfaces, disinfecting against bacteria, yeast, fungus and viruses: Dilute in water into a 1-2% (1:100 to 1:50) solution, depending on the desired effect, either 1 or 2 litres for 100 litres of solution.  Spray the solution on surfaces (walls, floors and ceilings) and equipment at low pressure, using 200 to 300 ml per m² (close to runoff).  Leave it to work for 30 to 60 minutes depending on the chosen effect.  Increase contact time in low temperatures.

Coccidia and Cryptosporidium prevention: Prepare a 2% solution (1:50). Spray solution on previously washed floors and walls (up to animal height) using 0.4 litre per m² of surface on concrete floors and 0.5 litre per m² of surface on dirt floors. Leave it to work for at least 2 hours.

Soaking small equipment: Prepare a 1-2% solution of in water (1:100 to 1:50) depending on the desired effect, either 1 or 2 litres for 100 litres of solution. Immerse clean materials and small equipment in the solution. Scrub the materials and equipment. Leave it to work for 30 to 60 minutes depending on the chosen effect. Rinse in water.
Surroundings disinfection: Prepare a 2% solution (1:50). Spray the solution using 300 to 500 ml per m².

Pre-disinfection in high risk situation: Spray the 2% solution at low pressure, using 300 ml to 500 ml per m² directly on the surfaces, prior to any intervention. Leave it to work for 12 to 24 hours before any other intervention.

Footdips: Use at 2% (1:50) Prophyl® S solution: 2 litres for 100 litres of water.  Foresee footdips capacity of 10 to 15 litres with a 10 cm height minimum
